Atria Park District: Evolution Unveiled

Ten years into its transformational development in Iloilo City. Ayala Land's Atria Park District has unveiled a new logo and refreshed brand, reflecting Atria's growth and evolution into Iloilo City's premiere business and lifestyle garden district.

Alongside the logo's launch, Ayala Land announced the opening of next-level retail concepts at The Shops, catering to more market segments. The launch event also coincides with the unveiling of Atria's new street art murals and the switching on of its Christmas lighting ceremony.

A fresh brand outlook

With its fresh and elegant design, the new logo speaks directly to the evolution of Iloilo's market, which has become younger in spirit and more discerning of its lifestyle and retail choices. Inspired by vibrant colors in nature, the new logo taps into Ayala Land's longstanding mission to grow economically vibrant estates anchored on green and progressive spaces.

"Our approach to the new logo is not just about mirroring green marketing trends; it's about truly committing to creating sustainable spaces where the energy and creativity of the youth and the active set can thrive," explains Jennylle Tupaz, Ayala Land Senior Estates Development Head for Central Luzon and Vismin.

"While pivoting towards a younger crowd, Atria's refreshed brand remains committed to all our patrons who have cherished our upscale and refined ambiance. The rebranding moves us forward by enhancing the district's appeal to a broader demographic while preserving the estate's high-end, compact, and quality-rich environment," Tupaz added.

New retail and public art concepts

The new stores that recently opened at Atria include global coffee powerhouse Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and homegrown favorite Senor Pollo, which helped kick-start the Latin America culianry craze in Poblacion, Makati, and all of Metro Manila.

New retail concepts that also opened earlier this year are Taiwan Shabu-Shabu, Amira Salon & Spa, Neighbor Cafe, Balay Tablea, and Lips' Tavern. Soon to open are MVP Shoe Cafe, Wano Iloilo, a Japanese restaurant specializing in sashimi dishes and Mezcla World Bistro which will feature a spread of international cuisines.

In tune with the opening of these new concepts are the switching on of Atria's Christmas lights and the awaited launch of Atria's new murals, all of which further transform Atria's spaces into dynamic and inspiring shared environments.

Atria's approach to urban design, as embodied in its long-running public art program, reflects contemporary themes and cultural trends that resonate with creative groups and younger generations. "This connection between art and personal or societal values is our way of engaging with our younger and creative communities who seek out environments that stimulate their imagination and inspire them," explains Tupaz.

Continuing transformation

Since breaking ground in 2012, Atria has lived up to its promise of creating a fully integrated business, residential, and lifestyle district that harmonizes a vibrant city life with nature.

Atria is now home to the Ateneo de Iloilo campus, the Healthway Qualimed Iloilo hospital, Avida Towers Atria, Avida Storeys Atria, the Seda Atria Hotel, Ayala Technohub Iloilo, and The Shops.

The pipeline of opportunities afforded by Atria' continuing sustainable transformation will continue to elevate Iloilo City, boost its economy, and create a more vibrant business and lifestyle district for the city's brightest minds and cultural trendsetters as it gears to open Atria Gardens - a new vibrant garden lifestyle district.

Sustainability at the core

At the core of Ayala's vision for Atria is innovative design and a drive to deliver a climate-responsive community. The estate continues incorporating the property's natural landscape in its development, with landscaped open spaces and walkways that make pedestrian mobility as seamless and convenient as possible.

Ayala Land's walkable master plan for Atria connects the district strategically to the historical part of Iloilo City while growing a greener, more vibrant, and more dynamic modern community. As with Ayala's master-planned developments, Atria is built and managed to remain relevant to the entire city while addressing the climate challenges and the needs of Iloilo's evolving market.

"As a leading business capital and cultural epicenter in the Visayas, Iloilo City has grown and evolved dramatically over the past decade, and Ayala Land wants to make sure Atria is able to capture the city's vibrant evolution," says Tupaz. "At the same time, the new Atria brand presents Ayala's vision of the city's future. It embodies our exciting plans for the estate and signifies more great things to come."
