The ceremony was attended by distinguished officers and members of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Iloilo, prominent figures from the business community, and the family members of the nominees, underscoring the strong, collaborative spirit within Iloilo's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Since its inception in 2022, the Ilonggo Entrepreneur Awards have consistently honored exceptional individuals who have contributed significantly to the region’s economic growth. In its inaugural year, the awards recognized Honorato Espinosa of Tatoy’s Manokan and Seafood Restaurant for his pioneering role in promoting Ilonggo culinary heritage. Last year, the award went to Gerry Guadarrama of Original Biscocho Haus, celebrating his business's lasting impact on Iloilo’s pasalubong culture, which continues to share the warmth and hospitality of the region. This year, the awards expanded their focus to celebrate a diverse range of entrepreneurial talent, recognizing individuals across multiple categories.
