Iloilo City – In its commitment to fulfill its mandate of giving quality service to its consumers, MORE Power Electric and Power Corporation gathered its large commercial and industrial accounts to hold the first Transformer Awareness Program
The activity aims to provide consumers with the right knowledge on the proper maintenance of their high voltage transformers.
MORE Power’s Key Accounts’ Group led the initiative in partnership with Customer Care Department with the aim of helping consumers be equipped with the technical expertise.
This is in line with MORE Power’s mandate of mitigating unscheduled power interruptions which data suggests that the primary cause are transformers which are not properly taken care of.
The company emphasizes that these transformers even if they are owned by those large accounts play a role in the entire distribution system because if one fails, other consumers nearby are greatly affected as well.
