Feel At Home This Christmas At SM City Iloilo

It is said that it is not what it is under the Christmas tree, but the ones around it.

SM City Iloilo presents a symbol that embodies the unity of the Ilonggos, especially in these challenging times.

A 40 feet Christmas Centerpiece is located at the Northpoint of the mall, carrying out the tradition of bringing cheers to shoppers as they come home to SM City Iloilo.

Born out of love for everything Ilonggo, the indigenous fabric from local communities - Hablon, Jusi, Piña, Abaca, and Rattan, wrapped around the regal centerpiece, symbolic of a solid foundation rooted on the rich history and noble tradition, highlights the set-up. The mall dedicates this theme in celebration of the Ilonggo spirit showcasing Ilonggos are at home in SM City Iloilo. The unity shown by people in these trying ties exemplifies a family extending a helping hand to brothers and sisters in need.

Standing tall in pure Ilonggo fashion, SM City Iloilo gives tribute to the culture keepers who have carried on in keeping the weaving tradition alive, up until now for the present generation and beyond to cherish

A grand virtual launch is set on November 6, 2020, together with other SM Malls, and on ground launch of SM City Iloilo on November 7, will signal the holiday season in the mall, with the John B. Lacson choir's angellic chorus around the centerpiece.

No pandemic can dampen the Ilonggo spirit, as we all celebrate at SM City Iloilo - Safe together this Christmas season.
