DHL Express opens new service points in the Philippines to help address surge in shipping demands

DHL Express, the world's leading international express service provider, recently opened twelve new service points in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Cagayan de Oro bringing up the number to over 260 service points in the Philippines. The newly opened retail locations aim to address the rising need for logistics services to help consumers and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in these areas.

“Over the past two years, there has been a surge in demand for shipping in Metro Manila, Bulacan and even Mindanao. With the opening of these new service points, we are confident of meeting consumer demand so that they can ship globally and conveniently from the location of their choice,” said Nigel Lockett, Country Manager, DHL Express Philippines.

DHL Express is also collaborating with partners as well as exploring new partnerships to increase the number of service point locations in the coming months. This is part of its efforts to bolster its local network, in order to support growing demand for cross-border trade.

“We are focused on bringing excellence and convenience to the world of logistics. By increasing the number of service points across the country, we aim to address the needs of individual consumers, and help businesses expand their reach globally,” added Roderick Queppet, Commercial Head, DHL Express Philippines.

In November 2021, DHL Express opened a service point at Mailmerge SM Grand Central located at Grace Park, East Caloocan City. The express courier then launched the retail location at Smartmail SM Pulilan, Bulacan in March 2022, and further established its presence at Mailtag HGL Building, North Caloocan, and Wide Wide World Express, in SM Cagayan de Oro in May 2022. The most recent service points opened this June 2022 are at Dearborne Kalayaan Avenue, Rigen Megaworld Alabang West, and at six branches of M Lhuillier in Dasmarinas, Imus, Bacoor, Taguig, and Pasay.

All of these service points are strategically located across CALABARZON, Metro Manila, and Mindanao. The rapid expansion of the service point network brings DHL Express closer to developed regions, where residents, students, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and MSMEs can enjoy the international courier’s quality service and global network at their convenience.
