Two Additional Establishments at Pavia, Iloilo Successfully Migrated to MORE Power

Pavia, Iloilo - Just this February another two big establishments at Pavia, Iloilo successfully migrated to MORE Electric and Power Corporation as their electricity distributors.

This marks as a major milestone for Marlu’s Restaurant to be the first restaurant to migrate alongside Panay News, becoming the first publishing company to transfer to MORE Power on February 18, 2026 in their respective offices in Pavia, Iloilo.

The event at Marlu’s Restaurant was attended by owner Joaquin T. Cocjin, Pavia Municipal Administrator Joanna Mantilla, officials from the Pavia Municipal Engineer’s Office, and MORE Power executives led by Chief Operating Officer Paul Almedilla.

On the same day, the Panay News’ Migration Ceremony was marked by the presence of its Marketing Director, Ms. Leah Fajardo, along with officers of MORE Power and the Pavia LGU.

“We are very glad to officially be part of MORE Power, especially with its expansion here in the Municipality of Pavia. When it was reported that Pavia was included in MORE Power’s expansion, we patiently waited for it. To all consumers who wish to avail the services provided by MORE Power, do not hesitate because its service is already tested and proven. It feels good that we ourselves are now able to experience it,” Ms. Lei Fajardo of Panay News stated.

This historical milestone proves that it is possible to provide electricity to its consumers with better service.

“MORE Power is happy with the trust that Panay News and Marlu’s Restaurant have given to us. We assure them in providing quality service. We will continue to expand as we planned as the projects are already in the pipeline. The distribution utility is on track in this continuous transition “, MORE Power Chief Operating Officer Engineer Paul Almedilla said.

The migration is anchored on a bill filed last September 20, 2021 by 2nd District Representative Michael Gorriceta and 4th District Representative Braeden John Biron that aims to extend the franchise of MORE Power to ensure improved and more dependable power distribution.

MORE Power highlights its seamless transfer assuring the stakeholders which belong in its extended franchise of its readiness in providing support in economic growth, applauding modernization.
