Sixteen baristas joined the Beginner's Category while 8 competed in Intermediate Category.
Award-winning Specialty Barista Jason Ray Gruy, Client Relationship Manager of Equilibrium Intertrade and John Bayona Castigador of Iloilo Bloggers Society were the judges for this competition
The challenges were to create a Heart, Tulip, Rosette and Swan design for the beginner's category and a Inverted Phoenix in a Cappuccino Cup, Tulip with minimum of 8 stocks in a Paper Cup, and Inverted Swan in a Demitasse in the Intermediate Category
The event's winners were Ju Lanz Cabangbang of Koffiteria (Beginner's Category) and Jan Anthony Bigcas of Coffee Brewtherhood (Intermediate Category)
